Location:Cinisi, small tourist village near Palermo, dates back to the Arabian period, exactly in 1383 when the Benedictines of Santa Maria delle Scale monastery obtained the feud of Cinisi and began the economical exploitation of their new properties.the name is a proof “cins”from which “Kinisia”means property belonging to the church. What can we find and see in a small but interesting town like Cinisi? First of all let’s remember the three towers :torre molinazzo:torre pozzillo and torre dell’orsa where in this last one was built a tunny fishing ground runned directly by the Benedictine monks .
