Description of the bed & breakfast: Set in a beautiful converted villa just 15 km from the town of Palermo and only 400 mt from beach, Villa Cefalà is an idyllic place to spend your holiday in Sicily. The surrounding land is very fertile and many fruits are grown in the region,indeed the villa was built in 1778 by Count Pilo of Capaci to run a large citrus orchard.
The buildings have been tastefully renovated and converted to provide comfortable and pleasant rooms and apartments for rent. COTTAGES Limonaia (33sq metres -2 rooms each ) consists of four apartments each comprinsing a living room with full equipped kitchenete on the ground floor and a double bedroom with a bathroom ( including shower ) on the first floor.These apartments also have a furnished area outdoors that overlloks the citrus orchard. Nespolo (60 sq meters -3 rooms) is a three rooms apartment comprising a living room with a sofa bed ,two bedrooms (one double bedroom and one with a bunk beds ) and a bathroom with a shower.This apartment has a private outdoor area with an excellent sea view. Casetta Rosa (60sq.meters-2 rooms) consist of a living room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed,a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower .The apartment has a large private pergola that an impressive view of the Gulf of Solanto. Atrio Villa (35 sq. meters-2 rooms ) consist of a living room with a kitchenette,a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower .The apartment also has a terrace that looks into the atrium inside the Villa. ROOMS Oliveto: two double rooms and one quadruple room .Each room has an indepedent entrace and a view to the garden. They are equipped with a private bathroom, Tv, frigobar. Location:There is much to do in this part of Sicily. Only a few kilometres away is the archelogical site of Solunto on the slopes of Mt.Catalfamo. This was originally a Phoenician settlement before falling to the Greeks and then Romans ultimately being abandoned. The nearby town of Bagheria was once a retreat for the aristocracy and the town has many mansions and villas, it even boasts a modern art museum. Of cours there is Palermo, the capital of Sicily, wrapped in millennia of history. At 40 km from Villa Cefalà is located Cefalù a popular arty beach town. At 5 km from Palermo we can admire the town of Monreale which is famous for the Normanno Duomo. How to reach us: • Car: take the motorway A19 Palermo-Catania,leave the motorway at Casteldaccia exit. Follow the directions for SS113 and at the junction take the SS113 on the left.After around 300mt on the left you'll find Villa Cefalà . • Train: railway station of Casteldaccia, with a free transport in Villa Cefalà ,800mt approximately. • Airplane: airoport of Punta Raisi, 35 Km approximately.Category:B&bRates:
