The sea is practically everywhere at Marsala, which in addition to several small shipyards can boast both a commercial port and a well-appointed a tourist port, while a boat services takes you to the Egadi Islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) in about 30 minutes. And the Stagnone Lagoon is always on the city’s doorstep.
A short car trip will take you to such fine places as San Vito Lo Capo
with its golden beaches and rocky shores (a real delight for scuba divers)
and Mazara del Vallo with its splendid sea front.
